After the first session, write 300 words in response to one of the following:

1. Describe how the terms "common spiration" and "procession" differ from the signification of the other notions.

2. Explain why the procession of the Holy Spirit should not be described as "generation."

3. Using examples, describe the difference between a real relation and a relation of reason.

4. Outline relation's distinctive character in contrast with the accidents of quantity and quality.

5. Using examples, and the notion of opposition, explain why some relations imply distinction between subjects, while other do not.
